Privacy policy

Your IT plan stays on your phone. This policy covers the J.E IT Plan app for Android.

This website

The website has no account, no cookies, no analytics and no external scripts or fonts. The planner keeps your plan in this browser (local storage) until you delete it, and opens your own email app to send it. Nothing is sent until you press send there.

02

What this notice covers

The notice covers the app on your phone: the services and estimates, the IT plans you prepare, saved plans and the ways the app hands a plan to you to send.

Image for the privacy section The services and prices in the app

03

The services and prices in the app

The services, prices, rules and pictures are part of the app. They are shown without any network connection and reveal nothing about you.

04

The IT plan you prepare

An IT plan holds your sector, site name and zone, your equipment counts, the services you choose, visit and review preferences, the start month and the estimate. The plan you are working on and the plans you save stay on your phone.

Image for the privacy section Equipment counts by area

05

Equipment counts by area

Areas are named with a role or place, such as Reception or Accounts, and hold only counts of computers, printers and people. Do not use the names of employees.

06

Your answers about the current situation

Your eight yes, no or don’t know answers become a list of topics for the diagnostic. They are not findings and are stored with the plan on your phone.

Image for the privacy section No passwords or network details

07

No passwords or network details

The app never asks for passwords, IP addresses, administrator credentials or other security details. The notes field warns you not to write them.

08

Your name and contact details

To let us reply, a plan can include a business name, your name, a phone number and an email address. You type them yourself.

Image for the privacy section Where your data is stored

09

Where your data is stored

Everything you enter is stored in the app’s private storage on your phone, in a database other apps cannot read.

Android backup is turned off for the app, so this data is not copied to a cloud backup.

Image for the privacy section No account, no cloud copy

10

No account, no cloud copy

The app has no account, no sign-in and no server of its own. Nothing is synchronised and no copy exists outside your phone unless you send it.

Image for the privacy section What the app does not collect

11

What the app does not collect

The app does not collect location, contacts, photos, files, device identifiers, advertising identifiers or usage statistics, and it contains no analytics or advertising code.

Image for the privacy section No internet access

12

No internet access

The app does not request the Android internet permission. It cannot send anything by itself.

Image for the privacy section Sending a plan by email

13

Sending a plan by email

When you tap Email the plan, the app opens your own email app with the plan written in it and addressed to us. Nothing is sent until you press send there.

Image for the privacy section Calling us

14

Calling us

When you tap Call, the app opens your phone app with our number filled in. A call does not transmit the plan.

Image for the privacy section Sharing or copying a plan

15

Sharing or copying a plan

Share opens the Android share sheet with the plan, and Copy puts it on the clipboard. Where it goes next is your choice.

Image for the privacy section How we use a plan you send

16

How we use a plan you send

A plan you send reaches us through the channel you used. We use it to prepare the diagnostic and to reply about the plan, the dates and the values.

Ask us directly how long we keep messages and plans.

17

Your choices and rights under Colombian law

You can edit, duplicate or delete saved plans at any time, and uninstalling the app deletes all of its data from your phone.

Under Colombian data protection law (Ley 1581 de 2012) you can ask J.E COMPANY S.A.S to know, update, correct or delete the personal data you sent, and you can complain to the Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio. Send such requests to kellymedina828@gmail.com.
